Mumbai: A 25-year-old woman lawyer was found murdered in her flat in Wadala in central Mumbai today.
Pallavi Yadav, daughter of a serving IAS officer in Delhi, was found with her throat slit by her boyfriend when he returned home at 5 this morning. He then informed the police.
Police say the motive behind the murder is still not clear but have ruled out the possibility of a robbery primarily because jewelry and other valuables in the house were found intact. They are interrogating her boyfriend and neighbours.
